Parable has never seen outside the jungle, and neither has her one companion Gustovelt, or at least that's what Gustovelt says. But both of them have memories of their past lives, when they were mighty mythological beasts that powerfully influenced the world. Now, spirits and gods from across the world have come to find them, and two spirits in particular, Brigid and Cassander, have arrived on a mission they cannot afford to fail.
